A Rogue Review of 2016

Looking Back… Looking Forward!

With 2016 quickly coming to a close, it seems it’s the time of year to reflect on the past and gaze toward the future. The world seems decidedly ready to move on from this year, and I don’t blame them. However, while there was a lot to be upset about in 2016, it’s important to not lose site of the great things that happened this year as well.

At Rogue Creative Development, 2016 was our first year in business, and what a year it’s been! Our very first project was working with Hangar 24 Brewery to tell the story of their flagship beer, Orange Wheat, through video. You can check out the full version here and the :30 version that’s playing at all of the Anaheim Ducks’ home games this year here

Another fun project we got to work on right off the bat was designing the print and video pieces for a very special wedding… mine! From invitations to thank you cards to pre-show videos, we had a blast capturing the essence of our story and bringing our friends and family into it in some unique ways. Check out some of the pictures and our special “reveal” video here!

In June, we launched our own project, Nerdy Pop! Nerdy Pop is a fun look into the world of pop-nerddom and has resulted in a number of YouTube specials as well as a podcast. Not only did we get to produce Nerdy Pop, but we got to create the branding for it as well and market it on social media.

One of our favorite new clients is BRASA Rotisserie. BRASA is a new restaurant opening in January of 2017 in Santa Ana and we’ve been working with them on everything from branding to social media to menu and uniform design to photography and even consulting on their interior design! You can check out the website we designed for them here and you’ll be able to sample their (delicious!) food in just a few short weeks! (If you came to our Christmas event, A Very Rogue Christmas, you know how good it is!)

Launched just a few weeks ago, The Road Trip Games App is a fantastic iPhone and iPad app that we had the chance to develop and launch. We love that it really brings people together as they pass their device around and interact with each other while playing some old-school games like Hangman, Dots & Boxes, Tic-Tac-Toe, The License Plate Game and more! You can check out the website we created for the app here.

These are just a few of the many highlights from this year and we already have some amazing opportunities in the works for 2017! We can’t wait to share them with you, so keep following our blog and social media. And, of course, if you’re doing something awesome and want your story told, make sure to hit us up! We love to tell a good story!

Happy New Year!
