Rogue’s Cinco De Mayo Pineapple Jalapeño Margaritas
It’s ¡CINCO DE MAYO! And, in Southern California that means margaritas all day long! We decided to share with you one of our favorite recipes, the Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita. Refreshing, sweet and spicy, it’s a delicious treat for this on-coming summer heat!
RECIPE (FOR 2)
3 oz Tequila - we prefer Hornitos! 🤘🏽
4.5 oz Pineapple Juice
1 Lime
1 Jalapeño
2 Spoonfuls of Simple Syrup
2 oz Lemon or Orange Liqueur
Tajin or chili powder
Salt
Ice, lots of ice
First, place 1.5 oz pineapple juice, the simple syrup and a few slices of jalapeños and limes in a cup and muddle!
Fill a shaker cup with handful of ice, tequila, remaining pineapple juice, lemon (or orange) liqueur, and shake it all up.
Next, rim your margarita glasses with salt and Tajin (or chili powder… either will do), and pour your drink. Feel free to garnish with more lime and jalapeños!
This recipe is perfect for any spicy lover, but if you’re not a fan, just take out all the seeds!
Have a spicy-riffic Cinco De Mayo everyone!
