We Gave ZatzWorks A Marketing Update!
Have you met ZatzWorks? In spring 2018, an Alaskan-based video production company asked us to strategize their new website and re-engage their social media audience. While they had plenty of video content, Zatzworks didn’t have a huge online presence. We helped re-strategize their marketing and social media tactics to help grow their audience.
For this client, it was important to showcase their high-quality stock footage available to the public while promoting their aerial video production services. ZatzWorks creator Daniel Zatz is well known to the cinematography industry; he has four Emmys and has contributed to BBC, National Geographic and more. We wanted to further promote within this niche and invite filmmakers to create with ZatzWorks by establishing a social media foundation for him to grow upon.
WEB
For stage one, we wanted to strategize on the website his friends had built. While we didn’t create the website, we offered specific feedback to help build a cohesive brand and strategized the user’s flow throughout the site. During this process, we mastered the language, tone and style Zatz wanted to present online.
SOCIAL MEDIA
When we first began, the ZatzWorks’ Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts had minimal activity. After producing a strategy and schedules for the accounts with Zatz’s incredible stock footage, we were able to showcase the Alaskan wilderness on a daily basis. During this period, we more than tripled the impressions, reach, actions and profile views on Instagram. The account gained 157 followers, averaged 2404 total impressions each week, and reached an average of 697.5 viewers.
In stage two, we added blog posts to the ZatzWorks site. Primarily focused on client projects, the blog gave readers a platform to learn about the incredible projects ZatzWorks has a hand in. Stage two also featured Vimeo optimization, which included updated descriptions, watermarks, a new profile picture and more. As Vimeo is ideal for high-quality video sharing, it was important for us to refine the account.
By removing some of the social media challenges, we allow our clients to focus on what they do best – create amazing, imaginative content.
